For years, Munk GmbH has been active in the field of training for the professions of electronics technician for industrial engineering and industrial clerk. With the training year 2017/2018, we have also offered for the first time a training position for the profession of IT specialist in the field of system integration.

In addition to all technical skills and knowledge, our company also teaches you methodical and social skills, such as the ability to work in a team. Our company has its own small IT department. You will quickly come into contact with many interesting technologies (including Linux, Windows, e-mail, web server, intranet, groupware, CAD, content management system, etc.) and take on independent tasks at an early stage.

An important part of your job is also the contact with users, who advise you comprehensively on all questions concerning corporate IT and related technologies.

Numerous employees who completed their training in our company over the past decades are still employed with us or have returned to us after acquiring higher qualifications, such as a master degree or technician.

We continuously train in the following professions:

Electronics technician for operating technology

The training runs over a total of 3 1/2 years and takes place mainly within the framework of normal production. Basic knowledge in general electrics/electronics and mechanics as well as in particular in the construction of rectifiers and transformers is taught. In addition, installation, commissioning and integration of the equipment into IT systems are part of the training, along with numerous other points.

After about 1 1/2 years, the first part of the final examination takes place with a written and practical part. The grade achieved here already accounts for 40% of the overall grade for the training. The second part of the final examination then takes place shortly before the end of the regular training period. Here, too, there is a written and a practical part.

Applicants for the occupation of electronics technician for industrial engineering should have at least a secondary school leaving certificate. Craftsmanship as well as technical and mathematical understanding are basic requirements for successful training.

The selection process begins around the fall of the year with evaluation of the usual application documents and is rounded off with written and practical aptitude tests and an interview.

Industrial clerk

The duration of this training is three years. During this time, the trainee passes through several departments of our company. These include accounting, sales, shipping, purchasing and the warehouse. On the one hand, general knowledge about business processes in an industrial company is imparted, and on the other hand, of course, the special requirements of Munk GmbH. In doing so, the trainee actively participates in the implementation of these processes in our company.

Those interested in this training occupation must have at least a secondary school leaving certificate with qualification. A good command of written and spoken German and a good basic knowledge of English are indispensable for our globally active company. Confident use of the telephone, e-mail, Internet and various standard software is also a prerequisite.

IT specialist / IT specialist system integration

You implement specialist requirements in complex hardware and software systems.

They analyze, plan and implement information and telecommunications technology systems.

IT specialists introduce new or modified information and telecommunications technology systems. They provide customers and users with technical advice, support and training.
